Kay Vessey has worked in people management, people leadership and people development for over twenty years, most recently as a senior organizational development partner of a global fashion retailer. Passionate about leadership, management and talent Kay’s strength is coaching and supporting others who have the desire to unlock their own potential.
Recognised for creating, designing, delivering and evaluating forward thinking development interventions, Kay reached the finals of the annual Training Journal Awards for two consecutive years. She won two awards in 2013 for ‘Best Transfer of Learning’ and ‘Best Use in Technology’ for her academically accredited leadership development programme Aspire2Accelerate. Kay is an accredited practitioner in NLP, Myers Briggs (MBTI), Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), Situational Leadership (SLII), Emotional intelligence, and Franklin Covey, Five Choices to Extraordinary Productivity. She has recently qualified in an Equine Leadership programme and has subsequently completed groundbreaking research in this innovative approach to Leadership coaching.
Kay rose through the ranks in retail from junior to senior management, a path which equips her with firsthand insights into how to value and engage staff. She became a Senior organisational partner in Aurora Ltd until January 2014 when she left to focus on her consultancy business. Her innovations speak for themselves.
Outside work, Kay is passionate about expression, music, art and her family. She enjoys live performance and an eclectic choice of festivals.
